He honestly hasn't had a great senior season. If he wins, it's for his collective work at UT. Ingram wins--had a better game on the national stage last weekend and throw in that Bama's never had a Heisman winner...
Great senior season? TX had NO running game this year and he had one good receiver. His team is 12-0. I'm not a TX fan, but the guy will get the trophy. As far as Ingram, he's not the best player on the gump team so how can he get a trophy? Gerhart is much better than Ingram. Suh is a beast and should win it though the voters won't give it to him. I vote for him.
Yes, his team is 12-0, but I'm not too impressed with the Horns and even less so with their paltry competition. McCoy's stats were much worse this year than in previous ones, with a pretty bad td/int ratio--at least for a Heisman winner. But that's just my two cents worth.
Congrats to all of the MI voters. Closest vote in history. Seperated by only 28 votes. Gerhart finished 2nd, then McCoy, Suh and Tebow.
We have Trent Richardson on standby alert as we speak. Coach Saban will make sure Bama gets there in a very foul mood.
I see the Heisman has continued it's tradition of not going to the best player in the country. It's credibility diminishes by the year. Gerhart was a no-brainer. People around him are typically in foul moods. He's a natural at that.
