"We as CFB fans need to come together and get ourselves a playoff system". I think thats the one thing we can all agree on, its just getting it done. :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
I hope you are right about the turnover margin. LSU has one of the best in the nation, and OSU's is not so hot.
They are a little light on the d-line and the linebackers aren't the 4.5 guys like we have faced in the SEC, I thought they were fast. I know that's not slow but we have faced and beat teams with a much faster D. They are also small at safety. I can see hester having a big day. I can also see us getting to the edges on them especially with Holiday.
With Holliday you could probably do anything, but if there is one thing our D has been good at this year is stopping the outside run. But of course that's in the Big 10, where days are 28 hours long because we're so sloooooow.
Laurinaitis is the real deal. At the same time, it's a gift to rack up those kind of stats when you play the likes of Div1AA Youngstown St, Akron, and Kent St. I think it says much more that a 3 loss Illinois put up 28 AT the Shoe just a few weeks ago. And don't forget that only 2 of the BCS computers put aOSU as #1 and one of those (Billingsley) doesn't even include SOS in their formula. They also received a 3rd, 4th, and 2 5th places. VaTech with 3 1st places and the highest overall BCS number of 96 is the first team in BCS history to have the best computer score and NOT play in the title game.
When they gave the human component more weight after the OU\LSU\USC debacle in 03' they pretty much did it for these reasons. Why even have the computer component any more?
