Sorry I missed your joke bros......see now your getting it, throw a little homophobic jab at people. Seriously, it's called a sense of humor my uptight midwestern friend.
Since they obviously didn't know that, lets not jump to conclusions. And keep the conversation on football guys.
That was not a joke, that is ignorance. I've been told by a resident of NOLA that outside of the CBD and French Quarter, neighborhoods get very sketch very fast; and I'm not talking about past 90/10/Esplanade/River, I'm talking about Rampart St and Louis Armstrong Park, which are three city blocks away from Bourbon St. Advocating that the primary targets of such crimes are an opponent's fan base is moronic and childish. What you said is equivalent to someone saying, "Someone send out a memo to the next hurricane, that if you must strike somewhere (which obviously we do not want to happen, but it is nature), aim for New Orleans." Get it? It's a funny joke!
:dis: :dis: :dis: BAD comparison... Saying something like : "i hope a hurricane hits NOLA" is like saying " i hope a shooting happens at LSU".... ass. NOW; Saying something like : " i hope a tOSU fan gets mugged" is like saying " i hope a tOSU fan gets beat up and he dropps his wallet.". Can we see any difference there?!? Little maybe. And ignorance?? what are you talking about  :insane:
By all means, tell OSU fans to stay home if they are scared. And what your "resident of NOLA" failed to mention is that New Orleans is the best city in the world when it comes to hosting large events. From security to alcohol supply, nobody can compare. Except maybe NYC.
According to this link, Tressel has told the media that the Buckeyes will wear scarlet. At a poll over on buckeyeplanet, the overwhelming majority of the Buckeye fans wanted to wear scarlet. http://www.buckeyecommentary.com/ Sidenote: it's obvious the two Buckeye fans above are being childish. They are probably only 16-years-olds whose parents are forcing them to go to OSU instead of LSU like they'd like.
