I think it's only enforced if the opposing team playing State makes a complaint. Then again most coaches don't complain since cowbells are the only thing State fans have to hold onto, and who wants to take away a puppy's last chew toy?
Because state fans rolled over and played dead years ago, ole myth fans actually beleive they are going to be a real program someday. That's why they are jeleous of real programs across the country. If it came from Mississippi it cam from a webel, the cows are still hiding in shame.
I'm with you Col. It's long been my opinion that the Moo Cows should first get a warning when the cow bells start up then get unsportsmanlike conduct flags thereafter. Of course, that does open up the possibility of opposing fans sneaking cow bells into the games and effectively costing Moo U yardage, but I believe that's on the gate staff to check bags etc. The do consistently make a mockery of the artificial noisemaker rule.

then i propose that lsu fans be allowed to bring their flasks full of *insert favorite liquor here* into the stadium. after all, its a free speech issue. everyone knows that the more loaded a good coonass is, the more likely he/she is to freely speak. and given that a lot of buzzes are worn off by half time, free speech is being limited in tiger stadium.
Ahhh, I remember those good old days when you could do that and no less than 1 fight would break out in the middle of the student section per game. :thumb:

The only way to stop it would be to somehow prevent the entire LSU fanbase from attending the games. They go through this every time LSU comes to Omaha , and have to live with it, it seems out of fear that it would only get worse if they began to enforce some kind of action against them. He told us that they are warned every year, but they know that the warning will not be heeded, because there is nothing that they can do. We wanted to give them a test, as Coach G said, and see how we measure up. I would hope that they never make it to that beautiful place again. The locals do not deserve that, and the teams that play against them do not deserve that. It is a game. It is meant to be fun.
