Terron Armstead gets 5 years, $87 million from the Dolphins, something like $65 million guaranteed. A lot to pay for a 31-year old who's never played a full season, and played 10 or fewer games in 5 of his 9 years.

Way too much money. Enjoyed his time here when he played but got frustrated at the injuries. Still, he was one of the best when he was in the lineup and it will be a blow to our O-line.

TRADE with the Eagles: We get both their No. 1 pics (no. 16 and 19) and a sixth round pick. They get our 1 (no. 18), our 3rd round compensatory, a 7th, our number 1 in 2023 and our number 2 in 2024. So now we have 3 picks in the top 50; Loomis must be thinking Jeff Ireland can pull off another 2017-like haul.

I am so glad we weren't the "winners" in the Deshaun Watson sweepstakes. That news conference was a disaster, with him denying everything. Now, the Browns have mortgaged their future for a guy who wouldn't change a thing. He's gonna have a hard time being accepted by the fans. But we all know winning cures a lot of problems. This one may require a lot of community service as well as winning. Poor Cleveland, they keep shooting themselves in the foot.

So we are a net loss of 3 picks. For what? Who did we trade for?

Two picks. We gave up 5 to get 3. Only picks involved in this trade, so we wait for the draft now.

Wouldn't call it a perfect first round, because we had to trade up, but Olave and Penning were exactly the guys I hoped we would get.

I was hoping for Williams at WR, but can't really go wrong with Olave either
