    I was kinda hoping this would be a wild wide open game and it just never got there.

    well, here we go, first PK shootout of the Cup.

    Damn i was hoping Japan would win that one, Paraguay wins in PK shootout.

    PKs suck to be involved with. Only had to do them once, in the final of a tournament.

    Yeah i was hoping for Japan, but damn. South America is dominating this Cup.

    No doubt, only 1 loss by a south american team and it was to Brazil. So i guess it takes south americans to beat south americans.

    there was a crap loss in group play too. Chile v Spain.

    fun game so far. lots of nice attempts on goal. The Spanish goalkeeper is a bit shaky. He keeps spilling balls like that and he will give one up.

    I love this matchup. Spain very precise and patient on offense but not getting a lot of good shots on goal. Portugal is playing well and getting some good opportunities when they can.

    Christiano Ronaldo was a huge disappointment in this tournament. Not very great for one of the best players in the world supposedly.
