Not when you're repeatedly screwing one of the world's largest countries, one where you're trying to cultivate a following. JMO

He isn't as good as he was supposed to be....

He plays in Greece, and will try and make the 2014 team, but probably won't be good enough then either.

He is still playing international soccer for the US but was not selected to the World Cup team. He is 21 years old now.

basically he was handled horribly by the MLS/US soccer. He was not ready to be forced onto the stage and that hampered him. He also seems to have a very iffy work habit probably from being called the chosen one. Hopefully he can get his head on straight and become a very dangerous off-set striker for the US in the future.

you are also dealing with a man, Sepp Blatter, who craves any and all attention. He does not care if it is good or bad. Having drama like this now focuses the cameras and media onto him, where he loves it. There are times where i think that he believes he is bigger than the game.

We need the Italian kids from "Kicking and Screaming." Just remember; meat comes first!
