I am just now coming down off the high of that goal. I was so nuts at the goal that I almost streaked the neighborhood. Neighbors might have had a problem with that.

 

Guess i can't shave till at least Sat afternoon at the earliest.

 

And on cue the Aussies are beating the Serbs 2 - 0 making this alot more interesting. They need 3 more goals and Ghana to get none against the Germans, or the Germans to score some more goals.....

me too, because we would be playing them instead of a team like Ghana with blazing speed.

 

very true. If Ghana had a soft touch to go along with their speed, they would be very dangerous.

 

and now the Italians are looking like they are on their way out. The old European Guard is faltering.

 

I didn't know that but if that's the case, he should be off the squad. On the squad and not playing is the worst thing possible for a trouble maker.

And don't look now but we have a very favorable draw to get to the semis. We've had enough bad luck so if we get some good luck maybe "Project 2010" won't be so ridiculous anymore.

 

And Italy falls, victimized by another iffy offsides call. If they had played the entire cup the way they played the last 30-45 minutes they would have breezed into the 2nd round.
