Personally I would prefer to be the #1 seed. #1 Seed Road: Algeria, France (Looked very weak last game against 10 men the entire 2nd half) or Nigeria, then odds are Brazil in Semis. #2 Seed Road: Belgium, Argentina or Swiss (Swiss looking strong and I see it as a toss up), then odds are Netherlands (May pick to win the whole thing) So Semis have equally tough matchup if Brazil and Nethrlands don't stumble.
With the round of 16 set, Brazil vs Chile, Ned vs Mex, and the Stars and Stripes are my most interesting match-ups to reach the quarter finals. The guaranteed France vs Germany quarter final match will be a classic.
Semi finals: Brazil vs Germany, Nederland vs Argentina Finals: Germany vs Nederland Winner: screw my head, I'm going with my heart: The Dutch!
Isn't that spelled Netherlands? There are small towns in both Texas and Colorado called Nederland. The one in Texas is pronounced Neederland by the locals. In the 70's the one store in the Colorado Nederland had a sign that said "Only One Hippie Allowed Inside at a Time."
Yes, in English it is the Netherlands and in Dutch it is Nederland. I have been reading from a Dutch/English website so I had that spelling in my mind.

It's anyone's guess on who will make it to the finals, if Germany, Netherlands, Brazil and Argentina make it. I'm guessing Brazil vs. Argentina with Brazil winning.
What scares me about Belgium is that I have seen more of their players play on their club teams than I have the USA players. They have a good starting 11.
....and Brazil gets by, by the skin of their teeth. I don't know what Uruguay can do without their teeth. I pick Columbia minus their two Escobars.
Brazil looks beatable and I'm calling the upset when they play Columbia, James Rodriguez is absolutely on fire. Also if USA gets by Belgium, and plays Argentina, I'm calling the victory for USA also. Argentina is Messi, that's it, they are old and it shows.
