2000 season BCSCG (beat FL ST). TOP today TX 37 min Okla 23 min. It is possible for your offense to score too quickly. All other stats are fairly even.
Never mind. Texas won. I was going to say, IF Texas loss, they MIGHT deserve to move up anyway. The rankings will be interesting to see tomorrow.
Texas plays Mizzou next week. Maybe Mizzou will be the new #1 if they win today. Has any had to face in back to back games the #1 team in the nation?
Really, really shocked that they just didn't run Murray all day long or at least mix him in effectively with the pass. OU's D was on the field way too much and it showed in the 4th quarter. Stoops blew this one. McCoy is leading for Heisman at this point. Daniel hasn't played a D yet.
At first I was totally convinced an LSU win puts us at #1. But with Texas putting that last 7 points on the board like that, it will be tough to overcome the groundswell of support for UT to be #1. All depends on LSU winning comfortably. If it's a squeaker, then I believe Texas sneaks in ahead of us. Mizzou will be a comfortable 3rd. Bama 4th (even in the AP). I suspect a breakdown like this: Texas = 33 first place votes LSU = 28 first place votes Mizzou = 4 first place votes Bama = 0 first place votes
LSU at #2, or even at #3, is exactly where we wanna be...especially with UGA, Bama, and the SECCG still to go. Dont think being #1 RIGHT NOW is the best thing for us.
come on bro...you cant seriously try to predict votes?!?! how bout the break down on how you came up with this...like the voter break down :yelwink2:
I would joke that Guilbeau ranks us 11th, but he has come around lately and voted us #2 in the last AP poll (one of only 10 or so to do so).
