Yeah - on both sides! Dooley's teams have ALWAYS been ready to play and have played our Tigers tough - I really wasn't surprised they were tough today. I'm NOT glossing over the coaching blunders by either coach today - they were both inexcuseable. But I'm still glad we won. Sometimes I wonder what's really between CLM's ears, but I really don't know who would be a better choice. Not much to choose from out there. You see, I think the big difference here is that I feel good 'cause we won and you feel bad because we didn't do it the way you wanted. Perhaps our expectations are just different. But we're all Tigers and I know deep down inside we're happy for the victory. It was thrilling...and a roller coaster and and all that. But I'm going to enjoy the win and look forward to more of them. No matter how ugly they may be. Stay thirsty, my friend. :geaux:
If only we would've known to pull him from the game after that play. The negatives outweighed the positives after the first 20 seconds. Another start...another poor performance. Maybe 18 starts isn't enough. Maybe a few hundred more will do the trick. I would like to use Jefferson like we did with Perilloux three years ago. Bring him in occasionally to run the ball but don't let him start or play more than a few series.
Exactly. I don't have a lot to say other than, we got extremely lucky. I'm not proud of it but I'll take being 5-0.
no doubt Lee is the better passer, but since Miles and Crowton are still @ LSU I dont think it matters who starts. JJ is without a doubt the better runner. We really NEED a Coach... who can develop LEE. ......... or JJ or ANYBODY. :rolleye33:
The big 4 Four BIG questions: 1. How much money does LSU owe Les Miles on his contract? 2. How much time left on his contract? 3. Who do we want/who is interested in the job? 4. Who is the "heir apparent?"
Les is a moron. Jaret Lee impressed me. He is relaxed and he has the capacity to improve. I saw him throw an interception in the end-zone. He just needs to work on the "touch" for that kind of throw. His lazer-beam throws were very accurate. His throws into coverage connected, and had a nice touch on the long reception on the right side. That floater on the left sideline to the endzone should have been more to the outside shoulder of his receiver. He can fix that. Jordan jefferson is tentative and uncomfortable in the pocket. Might add a dimension if they employ the wild-cat, but I think he should back up Lee.
I already mailed in my $100-please everyone pay-up to buy him out or we are doomed. He luck has run out. Even though we won. LET'S GET THE COACH WE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN IF SATAN WOULD HAVE NOT WAITED SO LONG-SPURRIER!!! IMAGINE WHAT HE COULD DO WITH THIS TALENT-LOOK WHAT HE'S DONE WITH THE COCKS. AMAZING-UNDEAFETED AND I FEEL LIKE WE WERE BEATEN ANYWAY-bad news bears, meet the keystone cops, meet the three stoges...UNREAL!!! Geaux Tigers...We deserve better then this stuff...
