I'm getting up there in age and probably closer to 60 than you think. However there is no way to gloss over the incredibly incompetent coaching at the end today.
This is Miles we're talking about here. What is apparent to many others, takes him awhile. I think it's clear Lee should start. . .but I'm worried Miles won't make it happen.
Words just can't express what we just saw. That game will speak for itself for a very long time. All I can do is shake my head. I'm glad we won and that's the best comment I can make. Hats off to Lee, not great but he damn sure tried. Hats off to Tennessee too, they played like winners.
Miles and Crowton deserve all these comments as the last few plays were a joke. Don't forget one other person who was completely lost out there. Jefferson should NEVER be placed in a situation where he has to: 1) pass; 2) think; 3) lead; 4) manage the clock. If the offense continues at this pace...8-4. If we go back to Jefferson as the primary...8-4. If we give Lee more opportunity...maybe 10-2. It's time to find a new OC. Time has run out on this project.
Ah - there you are! The voice of reason. Thanks for stopping in - we don't hear from you often enough. I agree with everything you said and I'm just happy for a win. :geaux:
Ridley, LSU Defense and the Tenn defensive players that stayed on the field deserve full credit for the victory. Jefferson's 83 yd TD run also didnt hurt
