They brought there game with Alston in but no way would they be 3-0 with him. Jazz played decent and just took HOU's best shot IMO and the Jazz are still in the driver's seat. Jazz still showed what made them successful the 1st 2 games down the stretch and troughout the game. I was going to read the ref's book until that one foul when AK's arm was being held and he ripped it out.:hihi: It happens they always miss that call.
With Alston, Houston wins both games in Houston. He is their catalyst. This team was totally different tonight. Without Alston tonite, they lose by 15.
But they won by 1 with some help at the end with their backs to the wall. I get what you are saying but the Jazz are playing some great ball with or without him in the game and the next game is in Utah. McGrady actually knocking down shots was the key to the win in crunch time and the entire game.
2 of 8 in the 4th isn't exactly lighting it up granted, he finally did have that 2 minute stretch to put Houston ahead, but that last jumper that didn't even hit iron, geez
That's what I am saying. I actually noticed he was out there in the 4th both on O and D. Alston helped give him that energy but it seemed to me that T-Mac held back in the 1st to save that energy. Hence, the reason I don't see one game meaning much this series because T-Mac fades in and out of the game. We wll be swarming him even more next game with 5 different players guarding him throughout the game, like the last 2 games. That will be the key for next game along with making sure Landry doesn't get settled into a game because he is a key reason for that 22 game streak and he showed some signs of that tonight.
I hate the T-Mac is overrated in the postseason and all that stuff. Truth is, he is overrated in the regular season. I am not sure why people expect that much in the postseason. When I say overrated it isnt a shot as he is a legit all-star and probably a hall of famer but some of these markets are begging for players to step it up for ratings and it just is never going to happen. He is on an Arenas, Dirk, Pierce level. They are great, but only a few can carry a team on their backs. It is pretty unfair to McGrady.
Another great slugfest, unfortunately the refs decided this one late with a horrible call with 14 secs left when Korver caught an inbounds pass and basically stepped out of bounds with the ball, but a foul was called on Houston instead Sad
God, the Rockets suck Williams misses two free throws and Rockets can't get the rebound, and were down only 2 worst case of blocking out I have ever seen do you practice blocking out, or do you just wing it in a game? I can't tell. Why is Landry blocking out Okur in the first place? Hey coach, you ever heard of substituting? He substitutes Hayes AFTER the fact when Okur is at the free throw line. Genius. Good reason this coach has never done much come playoff time.
