Yeh go ahead and boo me to. I have looked at our schedule, looked at teams like Arky and Auburn who are much improved, UF, Bama. No we always put up one stinker a year against a team we shouldnt (Like UK in 07) And I say 8-4 possibly 7-5 probably.... Sorry just my feeling as I think the Oline still has issues, Crowton is our OC, and the light hasn't come on yet for a few of our key players. And get this 7-5 i dont want Les Miles Fired under any circumstance. I realistically think that is what we will end up....
My heart says we win them all but my head says 8-4. I don't think we will beat Florida, Bama, Auburn and either Ole Miss or Arkansas but I could be wrong.
whoa.... this can't be , not from you the originator of "how many wins will it take for the miles bashers to get off his back" you defended CLM undeniably on your posts (and at you're house (I'm your brother). but I'll take 14-0 , just don't see it happenning I say 13-1 with the loss coming from Ark., Auburn, or Ole Miss (miles is bound to blow one of these games)
North Carolina W 31-14 Vanderbilt W 28-3 Mississippi State W 24-21 West Virginia W 35-17 Tennessee W 17-7 Florida L 31-28 McNeese St. W 42-7 Auburn W 10-7 Alabama W 21-17 ULM W 21-3 Ole Miss W 24-14 Arkansas L 38-35 We win the West on the tiebreaker with Bama and play UF in Champ game and win the rematch, go on to play over-rated Notre Dame in Sugar Bowl and win big. Final record 12-2, ranked #3 in the country and the media starts talking us up for a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP run in 2011 in New Orleans.
the only reason i have Auburn over LSU is simply because of history. We generally do not win in Auburn, i know we did 2 years ago, but that team was absolutely atrocious.
That makes sense, also follows much of the logic as to why many are picking a drop to UF in The Swamp.
And remember, we have to beat the refs there, too. I think Auburn is a more likely loss than any other on the schedule, with the exception of maybe Florida.
I ma not buying Auburn. I think they are over hyped. Speaking of over hyped, something I heard this morning: Name a team that is in everyone's top 10 that has only won one conference game (and in this one game they were out-gained by 145 yards and the other team turned it over 4 times) against a team that finished the year with a winning record over the last three years. Answer........Nebraska. I am not buying into that team yet either, regardless of how good Bo is.
They're schedule is a joke this year, too, though. I would not be surprised at all for the to win 10 games. They get Texas at home, and they're toughest road game is probably against Oklahoma St.
