Not if they put up the same games they did early in that Dallas series. Lillard == Parker. It truly will be if LaMarcus can be a man vs Duncan. Also look for Lopez to have a great series since Tiago Splitter gets lost on D a lot.

I have zero confidence in Lopez offensively. I think he needs to just support and play D. I think the Spurs match up better with Portland than the Rockets would have. Having said that I am rooting for Rip City but I think the Spurs take it.

Lopez doesn't need to be a star, just get his 10 points a game, and 20 if Tiago tries to keep helping Duncan on LaMarcus. Let's face it, unless Duncan has a hell of a series? Portland will win. You have Wes and Batum on the wings that match up favorably for Portland. Tiago and Lopez are a wash except that Lopez is much better defensively. LaMarcus and Duncan decides this series since Tony and Lillard are a wash as well.

I think Portland will beat the Spurs and it will be cool to see strength versus strength at the PG and PF positions. I'm trying to decide who to pull for and leaning towards the Spurs at the moment. It seems like this is their last chance (again) and it would be a good redemption story if they could bounce back from being so close last year. Within a gnat's eyelash as my first boss out of college used to enjoy saying.

Only if lob city takes care of Okc. I will take the Thunder over the spurs every time. Gotta get past the Clippers first. Don't look for much defense I this series. Will be fun to watch for some of you.

Now that the Grizz and that "free candy" van driving mike miller are dispatched my new favorite player to hate is Matt barnes..

So a quarter and a half into the Pacers game, Hibbert has 0 points and 0 rebounds.
