I was told the same thing about D12 and CP3 ... and both were Lakers (CP3 still should be one ...). I actually feel Westbrook is more likely to become a Laker but yeah KD could be lured there.

No doubt. I will say this. If the Thunder win a championship between now and then I'd say there is no chance he goes to LA. If they don't but the front office makes the moves required to keep the team competitive then I'd say there is a slight chance he goes.

He has said multiple times that he really likes it here, just opened a restaurant downtown. Its always a possibility but I think it is far from as likely as you think it will be. I think he stays here for another contract.

Thats what I think as well. Unless the front office lets him down and doesn't keep the right pieces around him. If things stay like they are I think he is here for a while.

I agree if they win a championship he doesn't go. But I don't see OKC doing what is needed to make sure that happens. They missed their chance when they had lower salaries, and now with crippling shit like Scottie Brooks being the coach and that shitstain Perkins having a contract it's going to be hard to get anymore help, and we've already seen what they have now just isn't enough.

Oh it's more than enough. The problem is Brooks. My prediction is they don't win one with him as coach. The talent is there.

I've heard a lot of criticism of Brooks here and elsewhere. He gets to the Finals two years ago with a team that many thought were still a little too young to make it that far. They made a respectable showing against the Heat.

Last year, Westbrook's injury cost them another potential Finals appearance. This year, they appear to be the best in the West even though Westbrook missed much of the season.

I'm not trying to claim Brooks is a top-5 coach but just wondering if someone can elaborate on why he's so horrible. IMO, his recent track record is pretty good.

I can only give you my opinion but here goes.

#1 He has a rotation schedule and by God that is the way it is going to go. Game flow be damned, match ups be damned, he is subbing in/out the way he always does and pays little attention to who is hot/not and what matchups work best. This has killed the Thunder in many a games.

#2. This sort of goes along with #1 but he will not keep Perkins off the court when they should have left him in the locker room or home.

#3. I have no inside source or any of that but I don't think he has much control over this team.

He is sort of holding his own with the absence of Perkins and Tabo for now and I hope they come back soon. Perkins is such an enigma because there are games that the Thunder simply can't win if he isn't on the floor, and then there are games where they have NO chance if he is on the floor.

Miami is one of those teams. IF the Thunder get to the finals and it happens to be the Heat on the other side and he plays Perkins I might just jump off the Devon tower.
