you right. if they don't start playing better soon, it will be a looooooooooong season. The Hornets need a backup PG in a bad way, first off. But second, which each game that goes by that they struggle, you have to begin to wonder if they were really THAT good last year, or if they were just playing over their heads in emotion from the return to New Orleans, etc... like the Saints did. They'll probably be fine. But you have to at least have that in the back of your mind after you watch them lose to teams like the Bobcats and Kings. It just sucks they won't have Byron Scott long-term. Once Phil retires in LA, Byron is Laker bound.
Exactly, I think Scott is gone or it could go to one of the assistants but thats not how the Lakers operate.
Rockets aren't looking much better than the Hornets. They looked like shyt vs a struggling Dallas team. At home. And it wasn't even that close.
Rockets are having a case of the same problems they have had for the last few years. Not good when you see injury reports out for 4 of your starting 5 and a few others on the bench.
without Yao. they are 7-5 and have played the Mavs (twice), the Hornets, the Suns, the Spurs, the Lakers and the Celtics. When we get our dose of the Bucks and the Nets, we'll be fine. If we'd be playing teams like the Bobcats and Kings and losing, I'd be worried. The Rockets added a significant piece to their team and chemistry early on has struggled. When Battier gets 10-15 games under his belt, if the Rockets are still struggling, then I'd be worried.
