Lakers are killing the Rockets. Lakers were down 12 after the first but now lead by 27 with 2:30 left.

Big game early in the season.

The Rockets had a ton of energy in the beginning and it just fizzled and went down hill.

I'm not making excuses, because the Lakers were totally the best team tonight, but T-Mac isn't right.

He is limping around the court right now. He was expected to miss the first 2-3 weeks of the season initially, but decided to play through it . . . and it shows.

Hopefully he finds his way out of it.

But for the time being, Lakers vs. Hawks in the finals, right? :)

    Agreed.

    Sounds good to me. ;)

The Hawks are not going to be a fun team to play this year. They are young and will make mistakes but have tons of athleticism. You could see Marvin Williams and Horford coming around at the end of last season. Plus they have a PG for a full season for the first time in years.

    Lakers win in New Orleans.

    Yawn.

At least NOLA made it respectable and fought off a twenty point half time lead.

If the Lakers can stay healthy, this team has a chance to break the NBA record for wins in a season.

    That's a big IF.

Atlanta is definitely the 2nd best team in the East.

You just watched the Eastern Conference Finals matchup tonight.

no way in hell the Hawks make it to the ECF.

This is another one of those Cutler things where you're just riding the hot hand.

I will keep pulling this up and bumping it, etc... in the coming weeks to remind you, too.

    They are 6 deep.

    1 injury they're done.

They're not better than Orlando (I don't care that they beat them head-to-head), they're not better than Detroit. They're not better than Cleveland, probably not better than Toronto, either.

I agree they have to stay healthy. They are young and I think they will stay healthy.

This just in: Mr. Roy is a pretty good basketball player.

my whole reason for hating on them so bad is I think they're a "regular season team".

I think they can win games in the season, but I don't know that they have that one guy to turn to when the pressure cooker is on in the playoffs.

Unless if Bibby can do like he did in Sac town 7-8 years ago.

Joe Johnson hasn't been known to be the most clutch fella on the block.

82-0. Anything else is a failure.

After wearing out last year in the finals, I think they will ease into the playoffs.

Even though Kobe is an MJ stalker.

He might want to try to take away that record.
