Never doubt my boy in the playoffs, BHelm..... This thread was useless to me this year even though I started it, my team shyt the bed with tons of injuries and a first year head coach. They opted for the lottery and the fire sale coming this summer.
Jazz went from nicked up to in trouble really quick. Since the end of the regular season (1 practice and 1 game) we lost AK 47 to a strained calf and now Okur has a torn Achilles tendon. Boozer also has strained rib muscles but fighting through it because he doesn't have a choice now. Starting to feel like a Rockets fan with all these injuries.:hihi: Hope to steal one in Denver because I know the Jazz will give it a good fight. D Will needs to take over games again like he did in the regular season.
The lower seeds in the west are stealing wins away from home and have capitalized on their 1st game at home minus Portland. Utah up 2-1 on Denver and spanked them the last game. Spurs up 2-1 on Mavs and also have a tough home advantage going into game 3. Denver and the Mavs are streaky though and could easily steal a win back. The Suns stole one back and I expect them to win the series in 7 but wouldn't be surprised if they take it in Game 6. As I said OKC is having fun now and are a scary matchup for the Lakers. Tied 2-2 and just embarrassed the Lakers. Boston and Orlando are in control with a 3-0 lead and the Cavs should have no problem finishing off the Bulls.
lol, I knew it was coming:hihi: I could feel your thoughts churning. also, this has been a good first round, better than prior.
Dallas, Denver and even Phoenix all having troubles in the playoffs. Didn't see this coming. Lakers should make it quite easily into the NBA finals. It appears that Oklahoma City may provide their only stumbling block. That series is hanging in the balance. Game 5 will tell us a lot about how it will end up. If the Lakers blow out OKC, then the series will end in 6. If it's close, then OKC could win this thing in 7.
Bout the way I see things as well with the Lakers, Kobe needs to flat out rest and have surgery, I dont know if he will make it all the way this post season.
Me either and Gasol, Odom, and Bynam are not picking up any slack. They just haven't looked themselves much of the 2nd half of the season even when Kobe was semi healthy. Defense looks average at best but it could all change with a little help from those 3 and I am not all that confident in them anymore.
one thing you cant argue is that the guy has the will to win despite all of his injuries. he showed up last night in a way that boosted his teammates, he passed the damn ball, that still doesn't mean he has enough left in him to win it all this season.
