Lakers should have no problem because the Suns are going to have to fight the height of the Lakers and work for every bucket. Suns are playing great team ball however but I don't see it happening.

Celtics got healthy and came together at just the right time. They will be in control for the entire series.

The Celtics have the defense and the playmakers to beat the Lakers but likely going to be a 7 game series IMO. If the Celtics stay hot and the Lakers are gimpy then they win. If the Lakers are healthy and the Celtics are playing like they have in the playoffs if will be a toss up.

They are fighting more than just the height of the Lakers, when the best player in the world drops 40 on you in game 1, he is sending a message.

You bet he was. Like, sure my knee, my ankle, my finger, my back are all sore, and I didn't practice all week, but despite how hard you try and stop me if my aches and pains can't slow me down neither will you. What a performance by Kobe. He's the closer that Labron wishes he was.

I do feel bad for Nash though, just a little.

I dont! He is a great player and worthy of that first MVP he got, but there are alot of great players without rings. Its about the era you play in. I think Nash would have a ring if he stayed in Dallas.

That's why I said "a little", because I agree had he stayed in Dallas he may have had a couple of rings. My sympathies don't run too deep for him, he made his own bed. I'll add, if the Lakers keep him as quiet as they did last nite he won't be doing much to help out his decision to move to the Suns. A move he had to believe would give him the best chance to get that every so illusive ring. 13 pts and 13 assts isn't good enough at his level.

Nash has to realize that the 2-man game wont work in this series, someone else has to step up other than Amare'. Nash is going to do his thing with facilitating, but he needs the other guys to get it going. They are going to kill poor Grant Hill by making him guard Kobe and I love Grant, he is one of my favorites. But its just not realistic to believe he will slow Kobe down.

You are right, Channing Frye needs to start hitting his 3's and Barbosa and Richardson need to step it up. If those guys start playing it will lead to easy baskets from Nash to Amare. As long as those other guys are sucking, the Lakers can devote all of their attention to Amare and Nash.

That is what makes the Suns so dangerous, but last nite the Lakers kept their 3 pt shooting in check. A game that the Sun's live and die by.

    Kobe is.

He is on his way to ring #5.

If you can't see that he is just a breath away from the greatness that was MJ, then you just refuse to believe it and you don't like the guy when all is said and done.

I don't really like the guy but I do recognize his genius at playing the game of basketball.

We will debate Kobe vs MJ for many years to come.
