Not going to buy that one. Lebron is a competitor and a winner, he isn't going to open the door to speculation, intentionally, that he tanked the game just to see if his supporting cast would step up. At least not to the tune of a 30 pt blow out. That would be too obvious. If he did, his management skills need to be checked, because that was an epic fail.

If he can't depend on his team when it matters the most then when can he?

Don't forget game 2 or 3 against OKC. He disappears often but usually in extended spurts within the game.

That is my argument because I believe he and his team would be much better because his teammates can't always turn it on when he is off. Just messes with the rhythm IMO. He is such a great player that he should accept nothing less than 100% at all times.

They are listening because they want to keep him at all cost. Lebron deserved the MVP this year and last year, Im not debating that. I agree he seems to be a stand up guy, but he hasnt lived up the expectations, essentially he is Allen Iverson right now in terms of his on the court accolades. The ring is the ultimate quest and its a terrible time to have a bad game with so many expectations on him. He is talented enough where he doesnt even have to shoot a lot of jumpers, the guy can get to the line whenever he pleases. I didnt see that instinct in him last night, something is wrong here.

Come on now, he is essentially playing with one hand and one leg this post season.

Kobe has a trust issue and thats his problem. Gasol is probably the best center in the league right now and Kobe doesnt realize that. He should accept 100% all of the time, but he does take plays and quarters off.

That is the problem because they would have a much easier time keeping him if they had guys who could take up the slack and stay consistent and he would respect them more for it when it translated to a ring on his finger. That is what every other team would have done or should have done.

Not really worried about last night because it has happened to all superstars at one point of the other. Just happened at the worst time possible during a game that everyone is watching. The Celtics know that all they have to do is stop Lebron and they win and they have done a great job so far.

The real problem could be that Lebron just can't handle the pressure. That when it comes to crunch time, that time that seperates the MJ's and KB's from the rest of the league, Lebron just doesn't have it.
