Official mock bracket selection

    "for the first time, the NCAA took its act on the road, bringing with it tournament chair and SEC commissioner Mike Slive as well as one of the nine other members of the committee, Connecticut athletic director Jeff Hathaway. You can listen to both on Monday's ESPNU College Basketball podcast.

    On the first ballot, the committee votes on up to 34 teams. This list could eventually include automatic qualifiers of a major conference, thus eventually creating more spots as the selection weekend of March 11-15 nears.

    The teams that made our cut on the first ballot were:

    Why is FSU a 4 seed but didn't make their first ballot top 22?

    my guess is that they werent unanimous. there was one outlier.

    and it would make a mockery out of the mock selection if fsu werent selected.

    at least in this one there was no coup attempt to leave out LSU.
