    "According to a person familiar with the BCS selection process, the Rose Bowl is now leaning toward a matchup of Michigan vs. LSU if USC plays Ohio State in the national championship game. That would put Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl against the SEC champion (Florida or Arkansas) and the Big East champ -- which would be Rutgers if it beats West Virginia -- in the Orange Bowl against the ACC champ (either Georgia Tech or Wake Forest). "
