I don't make jokes about that. Probably because I just feel sorry for the poor losers.

I have nothing constructive to add here, I just have to be part of history.

It has nothing to do with the Holiday Inn and McDonalds. That's not the issue. The issue is the amount of money that will be pumped into the Pasadena/L.A. economy. Because the average Notre Dame graduate/fan has an economic advantage over the average LSU graduate/fan, it can be assumed that those Notre Dame fans would spend more money (by way of more expensive hotels, restaurants, etc.) in Pasadena. This to go along with the allure and mystique of ND.

All that being said, I still think we get the Rose Bowl bid over ND. Those are just a few of the factors that go in ND's favor.

If LSU is selected, I guarandamntee you there will not be a single hotel room within 25 miles of that stadium with any rooms left.

Yes, there's enough Tiger fans across this country that would be able to afford expensive hotels. Hell the entire trip will be expensive. The kind of people who would go are those who have money to spend.

    Argument dead.

    Sorry.

It's more than just hotel rooms. It's every possible oppertunity there is for money to be put into their economy. If you have Person A with $100 in his pocket and you have Person B with $500 dollars in his pocket, which person would you rather come to your city to spend money. It's simple economics.

Again, I'm not saying Notre Dame will get the bid over us because of this. I'm only saying that it's a factor. I still think we are going to Pasadena.
