Let's not throw him under the bus just yet. He actually needs to throw some INTs and I would rather it be right now than in 2-4 weeks from now. That is the only way a QB learns, I have been saying it for weeks... even when MASTERNOMIND was telling me how stupid that was. He's not a Heisman winner just yet and he isn't Rex Grossman quite yet... let's give him some time.
UL is keeping 9 in the box... same formula teams used last year... LSU has to be able to throw more successfully against that..
:geaux: Not throwing him under the bus and still think he can be the man. Just feel/thought he'd be a little further along at this point than he's showing. Just a little frustrated I guess. He's gonna get better.:thumb::LSU231:
despite the score, I'm proud of my Cajuns... They are playing well.. they are just outmatched in size and athleticism... But if they play like this against Sun Belt competition, then they should do well...
It's not the passing game that's the problem; its the running game. We have to figure out a way around or through a stacked box.
Exactly how "farther along" SHOULD a 19 year old QB making what is only his 5th GAME be? Do you actually LISTEN to yourself before posting such garbage?
:geaux: Just needs to be a little more consistent in his play. He's got the ability and potential to do that more often. The last drive of the half he wasn't playing up to his potential or an SEC QB.:LSU231:
