First off, as mentioned elsewhere around this board, It's USL. It is USL and it will always be USL. It's not UL, thats Louisville. It's not UL-L, as that is insulting to ULM. It's not even SLI, which was a wicked cool name. It's USL and no amount of whining and moaning about how you should be just as good as LSU will ever change that. Even your stadium knows it. Go look at that hill on the north endzone. It doesn't matter how many times you cover it with cardboard or repaint it or how many fleur-de-lis stickers you cover every S with, it still says USL. Now onto question time. Did anybody get the number of the truck that just hit me? Which random celebrity will make an appearance on field this week? How many gumbos can you make outta this? Will we pass the 1000 point mark? (thanks nootch!) Will I ever get the mud out of these pants? All these questions and more to be answered on a hopefully less soggy Saturday night in death valley. P.S. yeah, this wasn't my best work, but what did you expect for USL?
If Matthew McConaughey is coming into Tiger Stadium you think he could wear something purple and glod and not the burnt orange of Texass
"Will I ever get the mud out of these pants"? :laflagwavI hope so Pod but, where did you get those shoes ? I want some..... really.ldskule:
In his shoes and the roles were reversed, burnt orange wouldn't touch my body no matter what stadium I was in.
Sat - 88, partly cloudy, 20% chance of rain...as of now (Tues.). If I went to a Texas game just for the helluvit, I'd sport my colors. Can't blame the guy. In fact, I think it's cool that we demand the kind of respect as a program that random celebrities would take the time to catch a game just for fun. It says a lot, if you think about it.
The man is a football fan and you and I would sport our colors any day of the week in Austin, as football fans. Made a nice gesture and wore an LSU t-shirt around his neck, haha. Wait, why are we talking about this? OOOLALA (sorry, they changed their name from USL when I was a kid so this is how I know them) has beaten a Big XII team this year, and it has them flying high. Congrats to the Cajuns. The real question I see going into this game has nothing to do with the game, however. I just want to know which Gameday shirt I should wear.
