I didn't get to watch this one - but I imagine those middle innings were a bit - eh - tedious? 14-0 in the fourth? Holy crap! I'm interested to know what you guys think a weak link in this team might be. Because I haven't spied one yet.
Pictures from today's game: Soph. Austin Ross of Shreveport pitched for the first 6 innings today. He faced 20 batters and had 10 strike-outs, 0 walks, and only gave up 2 hits (0 runs). Soph. Leon Landry of Baton Rouge hit his 5th home run of the season today, a three-run home-run in the 1st. He also had a single and 1 stolen base on 1 attempt. After three innings, LSU was up by so much that Landry was replaced by second-string Mahtook. Junior Jared Mitchell of New Iberia hit his first two home runs of the season today, a three-run home run in the 1st and a two-run home run in the 3rd. He also had 1 stolen base on 1 attempt. After three innings, LSU was up by so much that Mitchell was replaced by second-string Pontiff.
Mad props to Ochinko for his hitting this weekend -- for the season he's gotten himself up to a .429 batting average (#3 on the team), 12 hits (#2 on the team), and 9 RBI (#4 on the team).
