You do realize they were in vs. Tulane's bench guys right? You keep detracting Charles Scott as if he's some awful RB who has never been good. Ridley may or may not have looked great but to say that Scott has no speed or vision is crazy. He's broken plenty of long runs in his time at LSU, you act as if he's Justin Vincent circa 2004-06.

Sorry but Scott has no quickness and no ability to change direction at the line... sure once he is 7 yards pass the line of scrimmage and you are playing Tulane he has a little break away speed.

That play didn't even work last year, it worked in the first 4-5 games last and after that it was pretty much over.

I agree it is only one drive but what I say was a guy that had all the tools. I love it when all you guys jump back on the band wagon after a victory over Tulane or North Texas or whoever the BFE school of the week. That Scott play up the middle is not going to work in the SEC game in and game out..... unless you want to go rewrite history.

I don't know if Ridley will be good or not, it was one drive, he certainly has tools nobody else has... looks like the only complete back LSU has. What I do know is there is no way in hell Scott can make those cuts with that kind of speed and power to go with it. I surely wouldn't expect him to run like that against Florida but at least he APPEARS to give you tools that Scott just does not have.

Scott is a great Tiger, he works hard, but at the end of the day he is a full back.
