In-state rivals, doesn't matter if one program dominates the other or not, there's always going to be hate involved.

Though to be honest at games and tailgating before games Tulane and LSU fans get along pretty well. Most younger fans from Louisiana who attend Tulane usually root for LSU as well. But the older fans from Tulane who remember a time when Tulane used to compete with LSU absolutely loathe LSU.

at his tulane reunion a few years ago, the anti-lsu crap started flowing after the booze started flowing. i finally lost it and started singing "hey fighting tigers".
