I waited in line for 2.5 hours only to not get a student ticket, and a mere 20' from the gate at that. I tried sneaking in but it didn't work since I made eye contact with the marshal, and I was pretty tipsy after standing in a line with nothing to do but drink beer. After pleading with said marshal for a while, mentioning that I went to about 95% of the home games last year, even the Nicholls game that had all of 30 people in the stands, I was still rejected. Not five minutes later, I run into one of my buddies who sold me and my friend front row tickets for face value and we got in in time to sing the national anthem.
Where we were sitting and froze for the first three innings before my family called and told us to move our frozen rears to right field. Before the game. Notice the crane above the score board. They were still painting and welding as fans were arriving. Okie! No picture of the meauxjeaux ball?
I went to class Friday at 930. Then from 1030 to 530, when we went in the box, i did a whole lot of this. It was an awesome opening weekend at the new box. Add to that another win in the PMAC. Couldn't imagine a better way to spend a weekend.
Well you see, both. Problem was... The more beers I drank, the more time I spent by the road waving that flag at cars passing by. It became a game to see how many cars I could get to give me some horn. :insane:
