    That's the second big goof by one of our CB's that resulted in a huge gain for MSU. That's all on the player.

    Well no, not quite all on one player.

    The play is designed to sack the QB and the linebacker shot the gap WAY too late.

    It's little details like these that are holding back this defense from becoming a dominating one.

    Yes, it's called the Mallory-Peveto initiative created in 2008. Unfortunately it has yet to be repealed.

    Good stop defense! At least we held them to a FG.

    They don't seem to have any problems kicking so I don't think we can blame the weather or the field for our problems.
