With Helenihi on 3rd and Mitchell on 2nd in the bottom of the 5th, 0 outs, Kentucky made a great play off a grounder by Hanover... 2b to 1b to get Hanover, 1b to SS to get Mitchell, while holding Helenihi at 3rd. Then Ochinko came up and hit a nice line drive to apparently hit in Helenihi, but their SS made a great catch to stop LSU.

In the top of the 6th, Coleman is still in.

    Fly-out

Next guy gets to 1st on an error.

    Fly-out

    Tying running at the plate.
    first pitch: Strike 1
    second pitch: foul
    third pitch: inside, ball
    fourth pitch: inside, ball
    fifth pitch: foul
sixth pitch: popped-out to the infield, Ochinko makes the catch. 3 outs.

    Still 3-1 LSU.

Bottom of the 6th inning of the 7-inning game:

    Dean walks

Their starting pitcher, Meyer, is replaced with Logan Darnell of Tennessee--where he was two-time All-State and a high-school All-American (Louisville Slugger).

McGhee to pinch run for Dean, McGhee gets to 3rd on a throwing error by Darnell

LeMahieu ground outs, McGhee stays at 3rd OUT 1

Schimpf hit it to their 2B, who makes a nice play to throw out McGhee at home. Schimpf on 1st. OUT 2

    Schimpf steals 2nd.

Gibbs is walked. Runners on 1st and 2nd.

    Landry strikes out swinging.

Still 3-1 LSU, one more inning to go
