That's the last time i start a game thread with so many statistics. Let's keep it simple. LSU is outscoring opponents 109-25. We got out of a scare of a game against a nobody, but hard to say if our pitching is suspect, or just wasn't prepared and MVS caught us looking. Ill. is on a tour of the south, currently 5-1 with games against 2 big ten teams in a FL tourney and some rent-a-wins in Texas. Weather should warm up a bit, highs might reach 80, cloudy but no rain planned for the weekend Fri, 7, radio Sat, 2, radio Sun, 11, radio (Illini have an early flight to catch, also this is the morning DST kicks in, so it's gonna feel like 10 am)
that nobody lost to MSU 4-3 with those same 2 dudes on the hill. They have a good 1-2 in their rotation and they pitched them both in the same game to try to upset #1 in the country, who pitched their #6 pitcher. And the team still won by a lot... No worrying.
The guy at the end of the bench giving up a few runs early hardly indicates a suspect pitching staff. We weren't caught looking and we were prepared. That starter had our guys a little off balance the 1st couple times through the order. It happens. Why? All together now... THAT'S BASEBALL!!
I absolutely love that LSU fans can feel like a 6 run win was a close call. This is going to be a fun baseball season. SF may not make it through, though.
good luck with that unless you've been catching the games there, then you need to tell me what channel, because neither LSU, XM, nor the SEC list any baseball games on XM.
Do the LSU games for basketball and football come on Sirius? I have Sirius and it says that it does, but when the games are on they arent on Sirius. Same for Alabama and a few other teams also, says that they carry them, but can never find a channel that its on or never pops up on the ticker. I have the alerts and all on and everything.
