Just got back from a 30-hour New Years party on the beach in Busan (also known as Pusan), Korea. Sorry I missed a stomping like this, but glad the Tigers continued their dominance over teams in bowl games under Mr. Miles. Happy New Year to all of you in the States who didn't experience yet! It's already 1:40 PM January 1 out here and I need some sleep. I'll check out a torrent of the game later.
An account of the game from the EDSBS.com guy http://www.sportingnews.com/blog/th..._yella_jakkit_a_night_at_the_chick-fil-a_bowl Some choice highlights
What a game- and a blast to be at. The Chick-fil-a/Peach Bowl really wants everyone to know that they mean business when it comes to being a bowl- and they do it right. City was a blast, game was a blast (love the Georgia Dome, always amazing) and doesn't hurt that we played the way we did. If I ever had the chance to come back here, I'd do it in a heartbeat. JJ looked so awesome- I've said it before and I'll say it again: he hasn't looked bad the whole year. Drops have made him look worse statistically... and he RIFLES that ball. Happy New Year, everyone! (Oh, and now a 2-0 road winning streak!! YYEAHHHH! We're streaking, baby!)
Don't look back. Look ahead. 2008 is over and 2009 is gonna be better. Forget the pain and suffering during LSU's games this past season. Replace those memories with the LSU mudhole stomping of Georgia Tech. Happy New Year everyone. If Penn State whups USCw, I can die a happy man.
