Sounds like you might know this but just for the record, it was a lot more than "gross incompetence". One of the trustees literally embezzled most of their money....federal lunch funds, computers stolen, etc. Obviously, I agree with your post...just giving a little more detail.
Lewis story with quotes about why he picked Miss State over LSU http://www.nola.com/recruiting/index.ssf/2015/02/four-star_linebacker_leo_lewis.html
Sorry, but I think he is one to watch...character wise. When you see a guy decommit from 2 different schools, you tell everybody different things, one of 2 things is going on; 1) the kid simply doesn't like to tell people negative things 2) he has serious character issues If it's 1) in 2 years, he will be at MSU...if it's 2), address his mail to the state correctional institute.
Maybe I was a little off about the Ole Miss helmet. Heard that could of been his HS helmet which has the exact same script as Ole Miss.
It was his high school helmet, he had a fancy Miss State hat and a ragged looking LSU one, so it was kinda obvious and some comments were made that he was right handed and the Miss State hat was on the right side for him to grab
There was nothing good going on in that school, that's for sure. I think parents were crazy to send their kids there. The DFW Metroplex has many great options for public education. Prime Prep was not one of those great options.
The LSU staff was informed around 1:30am that it wasn't going to be LSU for Lewis. MSU sites got the news right before that.
