The one recruit I regret losing the most is the offensive lineman who was forced to switch to Auburn because of that stupid phuck Kiel. At least he wanted to come to LSU and he was a highly rated OOS recruit. I wish Kiel the worst, just short of getting badly injured.
I hope not. Kwon was rated 3rd at the position, he was rated 8, by scout. Hopefully they are right and Kwon steps up.
With the players they are getting this year it will change. Their class is off the charts. When they quit giving out "mercy" ships due to the brother-in-law clause (McCoy #2), they will figure it out. Brown just needs to run out of the tunnel and keep his mouth shut, the other coaches he has can and will get the job done. When Harsin figures out how to get M Brown and J Gray on the field together they will be a very good offense. Those in LA that have never seen J Gray run a football have missed one of the best of all time. He has been doing it since he was a freshman in HS. Not to say they cant still screw things up but with the budget they have (about twice what LSU gets) and the players they have and are getting, their time has to come with even average coaching.
IMO the LA. press needs to keep the heat on the Kiel family for what THEY caused in this situation. The family "baby" can go to ND but the way they handled it screwed LSU and another potential player.
Wow, now thats classy. Wishing the worst on a kid for spurning LSU. Yes he did screw LSU over, but lets be honest here. LSU also screwed LSU. Like I said in a previous thread recruiting can be an ugly game. LSU did wrong to Miller. He was committed much earlier and had the plans to enroll early. So the bigger fish comes in and he gets pushed aside. So LSU is a large part to blame. I dont blame LSU nor Kiel here. Kids flip flop. I hate what Davis did, he was worst, it being last second. But I wish him the best. Recruiting is an ugly game. Its a nice class, Id say a B. I dont see the good in swapping Liggins/Kiel, Thompson/Collins, and Alexander/Davis. I think all have potential to be big time Tigers and Im happy to have them. But there is no good in losing two top talents from in state.
