Official: Giddens commits to LSU! Chalk up another 4-star commitment for Les Miles and Co.! Troy Giddens, 6-0, 200 4.4-forty, 4-star Safety is Baton Rouge Bound (per Rivals)!
" And old Beatles tune. Rocky Racoon, went up to his room, only to find Gideon's Bible." Have you ever heard of them?
ok.. thats... 2 OL 2 RB 1 LB 4 LB/DB hyrbids 2 DE 1 DT 1 QB... I'd like to see a few more o-line and d-line... would be great to see LSU get a top of the line TE... a great TE can be very dangerous...
I think Giddens will be a Safety. He wants to run track at LSU as well, so if you bulk him up too much, he'll lose some of that "sprinter's speed". Basically, since he's head-set on running track and play football, I don't think he'll agree to play OLB if it means he has to gain more weight (he weights 200 lbs. right now). Actually, I wouldn't mind him trimming down to around 190 lbs. Being he runs a 4.4-forty, at 6'0", I think he could make a good CB if he's got the footwork....if not, FS looks pretty good. Gbadyu, as I mentioned in another thread, weighs 212 lbs. (that was what his high school coach was quoted as saying), so I believe he'll be a dedicated OLB when he gets here. Clemons' was compared to LaRon Landry in terms of who he reminded the recruiting guru's of, so based on that, I'd assume he'll play SS. McCray is a bit of a wildcard. He runs a good 4.59-forty. Fast enough for the SS position. He's currently 205 lbs. and looks to have a good frame (from the photos on rivals) to add some weight and play OLB. But he's currently the tallest between he and Gbadyu, Clemons and Giddeon (McCray is 6-1), so I think if he grows another inch or two, he might be better off in the defensive backfield....although I can see him as a pass rushing OLB too... But IMO, McCray is the only true "tweener"....
I meant have you heard of Gideons Bible!!! :hihi: Not the Beatles. The Gideons Bibles have been put in many hotel rooms for years.
