Senate 51 to 47 Looks like Ayotte in New Hampshire could hold on, and the runoff in Louisiana is heavily favoring the republican. So 53 to 47, a very disappointing outcome for dems (a net gain of only 1) The house netted only a gain of 6 for the Dems, they were expecting at least 12. The senate should stay in republican hands over the first 4 years of the trump administration as 2018 has many more dems up for reelection vs republicans. This was clearly the cycle for them to take over and they failed miserably. So we have 4 years to reverse all the damage that Obama has wreaked upon this nation.
