I don't think you're gonna get much pity from anyone being that the Cowboys now own 51 percent stock in ESPN. At least that's the appearance on the surface. People all over America are vomiting in regards to the extreme over exposure of this team.
sigh... again, not getting it. Never did I say Dallas got unfair coverage. I am saying WARE gets unfair lack of coverage.
I barely follow the NFL and I've never heard of Joey Porter, but I know who Ware is and the media makes him sound awesome. Just last night, I was thinking "why did this guy go to Troy?" Why not Auburn or Alabama?
Could just be "the grass is greener on the other side of the field" syndrome. Earlier this season, I saw a huge amount of posters on here swearing in thread after thread that Southern Cal owns the media, was the most hyped team, that it was all because of Los Angeles being such a large media market, etc. I didn't see it then, and I don't see it now. Where all are all those people swearing that Southern Cal gets all the media attention now? They have one loss and nobody is talking about them being in the National Championship picture.
He's getting a little attention: 8. Cowboys OLB DeMarcus Ware — Is there a more consistent defensive player in the league? Ware has a sack in all but one game this season. http://www.profootballweekly.com/PFW/Features/MVP+Meter/2008/mvp14.htm
Spears has had a better year this season than in his previous ones. Overall, I suppose he could be viewed as a disappointment, but he looks like he may be finally growing into his role. Bradie James makes me proud just about every time I see him play, and of course, since he is a team captain, it's wonderful to see a former Tiger making a positive impact on the field.
No kidding. Took him a little while to take over, but he's come into his own. It just pains me to see him in a Cowboys uni.
