I know most people here like Mark Richt but I don't. I think it's nice he's so Christian and honorable, but this whining is, in my opinion, more what he's like than the good guy facade he tries to put forward. His team was absolutely lousy in the first few games--embarrassing, really. I actually figured he was headed for being fired. Now it's nice his team finally found its footing, and I agree with him that they were playing great football at the end there. But LSU has played well all season, beaten both of the teams UGA lost to, endured being the team everyone wanted to beat every week, and played for this last month with lots of injuries. Trust me, Mark Richt is as big a snake as Pete Carroll...

I missed it, what did he say? Personally, I think his argument last night was stupid. He said that they were the better team at this point of the year. But, the championship game is based on a body of work (the season), not the last few games. If that's true, why bother to play more than a few games? Let's just pick our best wins and count them...you know, wins against ranked opponents. Oh, wait...that would still favor LSU 6 to 4.
Dude, I am bent just like you, but we really don't deserve to play against LSU. It should have been Georgia. I just don't understand how a 9-3 team jumps Mizzou and Arizona State.
We will play USC anywhere you say any time. Be careful what you wish for, though. USC can't expect anything when it plays in the Pac-10 (remember, Les warned you about that early this year and he was right, even if he was too honest) and when it LOSES TO STANFORD. Maybe you ought to start a new league with Stanford, Notre Dame and Vanderbilt. We'd be glad to let our weakest team join your group. By the way, you need to go back to South Central and study some grammar and spelling.
Mark Richt was basically whining saying that if a conference championship was going to be required to get in the national championship game they should put that in the rules, and its not at this point. He said that as a result his teams performance was ignored. It was pointed out that he is one of the voters and ranked OSU #1, Georgia #2 and LSU #3. :LSU231:
