Anyone else thinking that Brian Kelly is also partly responsible for Notre Dame's high recruiting ranking this year? I mean, he was recruiting kids for Notre Dame as recently as 9 months ago. Can't help but think that some of the kids ND is getting in this class are kids Kelly had been working for the last couple of years.
Zalance Heard will be making his announcement at 4:00pm tomorrow on the Neville Tiger Network (youtube).
I was counting him already. He was the last “lock” of the Louisiana guys, so from here on out is more speculative. This puts us at 284.35 points in the 247 composite, sitting in 7th place still, with 22 commits. Texas is second with 286.53, so it’s pretty tight in that group right now. The next most likely guys are DJ Chester and Bravion Rogers, but as far as I know, those guys don’t have any commitment dates set. Those two would put us at 294.01 with 24 commits. My guess is we sign 27 or so, and have a class sitting right around 300 points. We’ve never broken 300 before, so whatever happens, this is likely to be one of our highest rated classes ever, if not the highest.
