So taking stock, we are at 21 commits now. Hearing a vague rumor that Peyton Todd May grey shirt, so potential for 4-5 more commits. The realistic targets are: Tristan Leigh Savion Byrd Brian Thomas Maason Smith Korey Foreman We absolutely need Leigh or Byrd. More so Leigh, but Byrd is no slouch. Maason Smith is also very important for state recruiting purposes. This class could be incredible if we even pull 3 of these guys. Time to step up.
Hearing really good things about Derick Davis Jr. #2 safety in the country out of Pennsylvania. Once considered a Penn State lock, took an un-official visit to BR last weekend. He is announcing tomorrow evening. Saying his parents were extremely impressed with the coaching staff and the opportunity for early playing time. Note: Penn State message boards are melting down that LSU has flipped him. They’re not off to a much better start than us sitting at 0-2 with Iowa tomorrow. Could we land commitments from the #1 and #2 safety in back to back weekends?
I hope this means we’re making room https://lsu.rivals.com/news/2021-dl-anthony-hundley-decommits-from-lsu
Flashbacks from last year. If it’s to open a spot for Byrd or Leigh, then by all means. We need O-Line recruits. Im hearing rumors we’re going to lose Gee (which won’t be too bad since we picked up Ryan and Derrick Davis). Also that we may lose Carter, which I don’t like the thought of and there is even rumors that Raesjon Davis may be looking at USC. (Last one could be total BS) We need to keep R. Davis, pickup either Leigh or Byrd and hopefully keep Maason Smith home. If we could pickup Korey Foreman and/or McGhee it would be one of the best classes ever brought in.
Naquon Brown just decommitted. Foreman no longer visiting this weekend. Raesjon Davis still committed but now open minded and waiting until February to sign. I have no inside info, but shits not looking good again.
