article on NOLA says Goodrich signed w/ the fighting dabos because LSU couldn't guarantee him a spot, then the guy who had a spot signs with bama and we lose both... why slow-play a 4* to get a 5* who's not a lock... maybe surtain was stringing LSU along the whole time...
And I would call Bullshit on that. If he had wanted to come he would have seen Surtain didn't come and he would have a spot. He announced after Surtain
Good. LSU is in the position where all we have is talk; no skins. That’s on Les and Eaux wasn’t able to stop the slide back. His window to turn it around is shrinking by the day.
He didn't string LSU along. He's still a kid, he probably had his heart on LSU. Saban and Bama put the pressure by saying you can win titles here. At the end of the day, some kids rather win, than play for the school they prefer. You can't blame a kid for wanting to win. Plain and simple, LSU is NOT an elite school any longer. We, as a fan base must accept that. We must start by beating Bama and contending again for the SEC W. Then the SEC, then the BCS. LSU isn't that far, yet, we still have a ways to go. This is a solid class, we just need to do a better job of coaching the kids up. We also must do a better job of offensive play. Not to mention keep kids like Clapp, Jackson, and Tolliver from leaving early. Guice and Key should leave, they will go in the first.
