If E fixes the offense, we’ll be in better shape for a strong 2019. Missing on QB isn’t so bad, we’ve got QB for the next couple of years (maybe even get a transfer). DBU can probably coach up what we have, maybe get some transfers or convert other players to CB.
I dont think the class is that bad, but roster management is becoming quite an issue. We're starting to look like UGA under Richt; talent is there, but huge holes at certain positions. Also teams like A&M (and Texas) may never win in Tiger Stadium, but theyre now a serious thorn in our side from a recruiting standpoint.
Didn't Corey Raymond switch from WR to CB? He or someone else switched and became All-SEC or All-American. Nice to have CBs that can intercept.
Skill positions have been less of a problem at LSU since forever. Filling up the lines is pretty nice.
We are stock piled at safety. So it would make more sense to look at Harris, Stevens, or the new kid Joseph to play corner. We will be just fine, in the secondary.
