Amazing how even with a likely # 1 class that meets needs you minions still are whining and bitching that the sky is falling. You all are too much
With Divinity and Lawrence, LSU's average per recruit vaults to 92.32, which is rarefied air. Once you add in Mullen, Fulton, Allen and White, the number balloons to a 93.03 average. Only Alabama eclipsed the 93 threshold, in 2012, 2013 and 2015. Texas in 2010 and USC in 2007 and 2009.
Well I started a thread that showed the enormous talent that we recently recruited on the offensive side of the ball at QB, WR and TE, and yet we play like we've gotten bottom of the barrel recruits at those positions. You do understand the concept of flawed offensive philosophy and coaching up players? We've never had issues recruiting under Les Miles and not a single person on this site has ever complained about recruiting efforts in general.
This looks like it's going to be a very solid class yet again. Still would like to see more DL and LB, of course a QB too. Still some nice fish out there waiting to be reeled in. Real interested to see what impact Aranda has this late in the cycle.
No amount of reasoning is going to stop those that bitch about others pointing out flaws in the offense. They say they hate whiners and then make non stop post whining about whiners.
Please refer to the other thread on the finishing class, bhelm chimes in and it talks about all the possibilities remaining.
I understand that USC had the sanctions, but it shows how important coaching is. The best recruiting classes ever according to avg per recruit, huh? Look at the records of Texas and USC in the years with those recruits. Look at Florida's recruiting rankings vs. w-l records too while you're at it. Recruiting rankings aren't everything. They can mean very very little with poor coaching.
