    I thought Manuel was possibly a silent commit, is this change due to the coaching issues?

    What you hearing about Joiner and Mullen?

    .LSU looking good for locking up (247sports composite rankings):

    5 of the top 33 recruits
    6 of the top 43 recruits
    8 of the top 75 recruits

    If that happens, LSU finishes in the top 3 and would have an excellent chance of ending Bama's reign of #1 recruiting classes. It would also be the most successful recruiting class in LSU history on paper.

    We could end up with 11 of what, the Top 150 prospects? 12 if we can get Franks back.

    DT Manuel
    CB Smith
    DT Lawrence
    S Monroe
    DT Alexander
    CB Mullen
    OLB Divinity
    ILB Rashaun Smith
    OLB Fowler
    OT Allen
    RB White

    Then there are another 6 committed that are ranked 151 - 250. So it looks like a ridiculous class.

    We may also land 4 Star OT Jean Delance.

    The only thing missing as of right now is the top-flight QB......

    We really need a middle linebacker, what's the deal? Shit buy Ben Davis an escalade or something. It's interesting 24/7 has Clifton Garrett ranked back at 2 after his JUCO season. What really happened there? We could really use him.

    Ok so looking at that again the rankings are kind of jacked up. They have 4 and 3 stars scattered all in w each other.

    We're on a lot of top LB lists, but I don't think we end up getting many. As bad as we need LB's, I'm more concerned with DT. We have to get numbers and quality this recruiting class.

    I would say they are equally important. We have more depth at DT right now than we do at linebacker. Divinity should be a good player but we need more. As for DT Hoping we land Lawrence and Gary, and maybe Manuel, that would be Trump uuuuuuuuuuuge.

    I've been worried about this for a while. This class will be a disappointment without 5 LB's. I think we'll only sign 4. And I think a lot of time OLB's will actually play ILB when they get to school.

    It's certainly not looking good at LB. Even if we do miraculously bring in Wilson or Davis along with the other guys we have committed they are still true FR. I'd love to land one of those guys but I'm sure both will end up at Bama.

    While we need a lot of talent at DL for the future and for back ups I think LB is in dire need. We lose Debo and probably Beckwith, our only two LB's who belong on the field.
