Mike Coppage ?@MikeCoppage 7m LSU set to get a new 2015 WR commit soon. Link just posted. Might be Terrell Chatman.
Is there an annual class prediction thread? I think it would be kind of fun for us all to take a shot at how 2015 is going to shake out a year from NSD.
I'll take a stab. QB - No clue. I think with Retting/Jennings/Harris the last two years allows the staff to swing for the fences this year. RB - Nick Brossette, Derrius Guice WR - Carlos Strickland, Michael Chigbu, Terrell Chatman (think we miss on Tyron Johnson) TE - Bry'Keithen Mouton OL - Maea Teuhema, Hanner Shipley (think he grows into a lineman), Garrett Thomas, Garrett Burguillos, Patrick Vahe DT - T.D. Moton, John Washington DE - Terry Beckner Jr, Rasool Clemons LB - Tyquincey Kilbourne, Sh'mar Kilby-Lane, Aurthur McGinnis S - Jamal Peters, Kevin Henry CB - Kevin Tolliver II, Tarvarus McFadden, Xavier Lewis ATH - Derek Dillion, Lanard Fournette LS- Blake Ferguson I'm not a recruiting expert/scout. Also, i went with 27 instead of 25 due to the size of last year's class, I'm not sure that is correct but it's my prediction.
We might be halfway through our class by the end of February. LSU currently has the top spot in recruiting in the composite 247sports ranking.
Offers by LSU by position: http://lsu.247sports.com/Season/2015-Football/Offers LSU currently has 65 offers out, vs Bama who has a whopping 126.
Solid article/video on 2015 prospects in the trenches (as well as commitments). http://www.nola.com/recruiting/index.ssf/2014/02/comprehensive_lsu_2015_outlook.html
nola.com reporting the Tigers have finally officially offered Patterson WR Daylon Charlot, and it seems to have him having second thoughts about his Bama verbal. http://www.nola.com/recruiting/index.ssf/2014/06/lsu_offers_patterson_wideout_a.html
Does anybody have a summary of who our commitments are so far for 2015 (and 2016, I guess)? @islstl, seems right up you alley, amigo. The individual threads are great, but I get mixed up on who is a 2015, 16, 17 commitment these days. We keep loading up so much, I love it.
