According to Scout.com, the Aussie punter Growden got a full scholarship offer and committed to LSU to become the 20th member of this class. I have to say I agree with LSU on this one. If LSU gets some major surprise, they can always squeeze one more guy in. I like Growden already...here is his tweet...notice the American football reference. "I'm going to be a TIGER! I've been offered a scholarship to study and play American football for @LSU #GeauxTigers"

Unfortunately, it is skewed too much IMO to personal relationships but sometimes that can be an advantage. The main reason I thought D Jackson would pick LSU is he always talked about Pruitt his GA recruiting liason but never much about Georgia. That simply wasn't enough to pull him out of LA. But you are correct...a lot of the time, the coaches that recruited the guy have moved on to other schools before the guy has finished his 2nd year at the school.
Sometimes a kid will wait till the last minute to flip, most coaches know, its their job. Some of the little things change, he has to notice. The odds of that kid doing well, odds are against it, seen it all to often.
To be fair, Dural will only be at LSU 1 more year probably. And Quinn is a possession type receiver, although he needs to stop dropping passes. Guys like T Johnson and D Dillon are more YAC guys who do something more after the catch than Dural and Quinn have proven to be so far. Hard to tell yet on M Dupre but he is going to have to put on some weight to be effective. I'm sure everyone noticed how the bigger CBs literally tried to ride him out of bounds while running routes near the sidelines. Diarse is probably the most versatile of the bunch which is one reason he supplanted Quinn as a starter late in the season.
My recollection works fairly well. If I'm not mistaken, LSU entered the 2014 season six deep with three seniors—verbals from three right now. Same depth, but younger. I've seen that 4th stringer getting starts...left an indelible impression.
