Going to be a great class. I hope to get a little more discussion on this site going.
Missing Brandon Harris which should be more than 58% Godchaux as well if he performs well at camp. John Battle who will get a bump in all rating services might be LSU's next commit.
Next month should be very exciting for sure. Who is John Battle? This is about the only sports related site not blocked on my work computer
Safety out of FL who has a very nice offer list. FSU seems to be the biggest competition. He was on campus this week for a visit.
lot of big time WRs on that list of commits or probables. Cam's reputation the source of that? A bit of a pleasant surprise for me since the effect of a new OC is not fully demonstrated in our offense on the field yet, and esp given the recent experiences of RRandle/TToliver, and others. how many are we likely to want to sign?
Right now it looks like Blacknall might pull the trigger next month. Dupre seems like the surest thing out of the instate guys. Noil and Quinn are enjoying the process and making sure they make the best decision for them. If Cam's offense is anything like we are hearing, then that would most likely push Noil and Quinn to Baton Rouge. Williams is another story. It all depends on if the coaching staff is willing to use a scholarship on a 1 year guy in this recruiting cycle with all the elite talent wanting to come to LSU. A conservative estimate of the WR class would be Upchurch, Dupre, Blacknall, Noil or Quinn, Chark/Voorhies. Best case scenerio, Upchurch, Dupre, Blacknall, Noil, Quinn, Williams. Chark/Voorhies end up DBs.
Good stuff. I'm gone for the weekend, but I look forward to generating more discussion on this board.
