Tiger almost made an eagle on 3. If he keeps hitting the fairways like he is doing, the leaders had better look out.
He's putting on a clinic in ball striking & course management. If he's not in the lead at the end of the day I'm going to be surprised.
You're a tough critic  I wouldn't call a bogey on probably one of the toughest holes in America screwing up. Now if he made 8, that would be screwing up.
USGA cut the players a break today by watering the greens last night. Greens were holding shots pretty well. Will be interesting to see if they do the same tonight. Tiger will be in the final group with Baddeley. We'll see if he can break his 0-28 streak in coming from behind in majors. Gotta think it'll be a sleepless night for Baddeley.
I'm really disappointed in Wood's play today. He simply is not making the shots he needs to make, and Cabrera is. Woods is now two behind the leader, and I do not see him making that up - not the way he is playing. Cabrera will have to self-destruct, and I see no indication of him doing that. Cabrera will be the 2007 U.S. Open Champion.
Tiger just missed a five foot put for birdie. He hit it with no authority at all. Very typical of the way he has been putting. It is hard to watch.
Cabrera wins the U.S. Open. Today's round was tailor-made for Tiger to come from behind to win a major and he still could not do it.
